CRUMBLAND (EXOGENIC MUSIC GROUP)
An excellent new and fresh rock act fronted by charismatic Jontte Genberg whose songs have been embraced by the Nordic radio stations since this spring. Crumbland’s powerful live reputation already brought them as far as touring India. In Berlin the band has found an international co-manager Frank Stroebele (Eye Sound Management) who also manages Within Temptation and Anastacia.

Feiled is mix of post punk skipeyness and metal tightness. Feiled’s charismatic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Anton writes nearly all the material and the band arranges it to strict intentive form. Feiled will have their first ever gig in Germany at Popkomm!

LAPKO (FULLSTEAM RECORDS)
A phenomenon is growing and prospering in the frozen soil of Finland. Third album Young Desire again captures the fervour witnessed on Lapko’s live shows. Taking in themes of vulnerability and anxiety, the album is a mental trip back to the schoolyard, where tough guy antics and leather armor can’t hide the convulsions underneath. There’s new depth and dynamic in the band’s expression, fitting for a gang of seasoned rock musicians.

OP:L BASTARDS (JUPITER)
The legendary electro group Op:l Bastards is back after a five year hiatus, and its organic, bass-heavy and melodic sound is more contemporary than ever. The band
toured extensively across Europe
at the turn of the century, and has now re-released their first album Job, with four extra tracks. That album led the band to the global cult favourite status in its genre. And now they are back.

STALINGRAD COWGIRLS (WARNER)
This is fierce energy from Lapland! These three 18-year-old women who call themselves Stalingrad Cowgirls hail from Salla, which is 60 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. A&R reps did their best to keep up with the band, and finally Warner Music Finland was the company that managed to sign Stalingrad Cowgirls. This will be cold as a rock.

THE VALKYRIANS (BREAK-A-LEG)
Their groovy tunes are a mix of early reggae, traditional 60’s Jamaican ska and British two tone, spiced up with a fresh touch. When it comes to playing live, The Valkyrians have become a stamp of quality and intensity. Rumours of their ass-kicking live shows started spreading among the wider audience and now it’s the time to witness it yourself.

BASIC INFORMATION OF POPKOMM:
Popkomm has been based in Berlin since 2004 and is now well established as the world’s music and entertainment industry fair. With more than 800 exhibitors from 55 countries Popkomm is one of the largest international meeting places in the world for music business professionals.
