Snowball - Finnish-Chinese Music Industry Convention

Shanghai Snowball is an intimate and informative seminar and networking event for the music industry, taking place over two days prior to the Finnish national day at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. The invitation-only event will be attended by key music industry executives from the Pan-Asian music market, representing all the sectors of the industry. Altogether 20 Finnish companies participate the seminar, representing a variety of genres ranging from pop, rock, metal and electronic to jazz and folk music.

The seminar takes place at Hotel Donghu, which is located in the north eastern corner of Xuhui district.

Around the Snowball dates, from May 26 - May 28, altogether over 15 Finnish acts will showcase around the city, including the World Expo venues.

Shanghai Snowball is organised by Music Export Finland and supported by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and Finpro.
