On 21th - 24th September 2008 Music Export Finland will organize an international co-writing workshop at the inspirational Kallio-Kuninkala estate in Järvenpää. The top publishing companies and their songwriters from Finland will team up with a group of top notch international writers to create new networks and do business together.
A&R executives from Europe and USA will also attend the Songcastle camp to tell the writers and publishers what kind of material they need for their forthcoming projects.
The Songcastle camp’s main goals are to develop the skills of Finnish songwriters and to improve the efficiency of Finnish music publishing business.
The Songcastle event is funded by the participating publishers, the Foundation for the Promotion of Finnish Music, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Education.
