MOI! Sounds From Suomi

Finnish Music Flagship Project in the Nordic Countries

Over a decade ago, Finnish popular music made a big-time leap with the global chart success of a stream of artists. International success stories have ever since continued to happen. To get off the ground, they require a competent and effective music business cluster. Finnish record companies and publishers, managers, festival organizers, agents and booking agencies have been very active in courting international growth and networking at international events.

In market value surveys conducted by Music Export Finland, companies engaged in exporting music have on numerous occasions indicated that after German-speaking Europe, they consider the Nordic region their most important export market.

The goal is to boost networking between Finnish music industry professionals and their colleagues in the other Nordic countries, promote Finnish music to the Nordic media, facilitate touring by Finnish artists in the Nordic countries and assist Finnish companies in creating and carrying out music export strategies for the Nordic territory.

If ever, now is the time initiate and launch business activities with the Finns criss-crossing Scandinavia. Read further to learn how music industry players in all Nordic countries can make the most out of MOI! Sounds from Suomi.
