The annual congregation of electronic music professionals and aficionados in Barcelonas Sónar is nearing and this year the visitors are in for more Finns than ever! The closing night of Sónar, Saturday 18th June, lets the experimental soundscape-meisters Es, Kemialliset Ystävät and Islaja enchant the audience with sweet sounds from Finnish forests at the FONAL RECORDS showcase. Previously only individual Finnish artists have been selected to the Sónar program so the Fonal showcase is a significant distinction for these artists of the new electronica generation.
