Wimme has hit the World Music Charts Europe with his newest album Mún. It is the highest rated European album on the chart in the April listing.
Mún (Rockadillo Records) features Wimme Saari (vocals), Tapani Rinne (clarinets), Juuso Hannukainen (percussion) and Matti Wallenius (acoustic string instruments). Hannukainen and Rinne are also known from RinneRadio, an experimental Finnish ensemble.
The World Music Charts Europe kicked off in 1991.
