Mikko Innanen’s Group Tours North America

Jazz saxophonist and composer Mikko Innanen is taking one his numerous bands on the road. This time it's his Mikko Innanen & Innkvisitio quintet and they are heading to convert the willing masses of jazzheads in North America. The sweet torture of their ensemble improvisation, tight chops and even tighter, blues-inflected tunes hearkens back to greats like Albert Ayler and Ornette Coleman, without being in the least derivative.
