Playground Buys Edel Records Finland and Aims Forward

Playground Music Scandinavia AB has purchased Edel Records Finland Oy, and all of its functions. The supersized independent company, according to IFPI, now owns a 12 % share of the Finnish music market. Playground Music continues as a distributor and service provider of independent labels, but with enhanced possibilities for international partnerships.
