With the ink on their deal with 100% records hardly dry, the band has a lot going on. The band’s debut album will come out in the spring, with a couple of singles slated for earlier next year.

In the meantime the band will be playing European dates in November, including a headlining gig at Club NME in London on November 4. December sees the duo, now augmented with live drummer Alpo Nummelin, heading to Asia, which is a very promising area for their brand of atmospheric synthpop.

Zebra & Snake appear on a compilation called Absolute Indie, which was curated by five promoters from Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia. In addition to band with export potential from the region, the compilation features international breakout artists like Dr Dog, Deerhoof and Zebra & Snake. The compilation will be available in stores and on iTunes on October 18.

The compilation is released as a part of the promotional push leading up to the debut of the UpToTheSky Festival in Singapore, at which Zebra & Snake will be performing. The festival runs from December 3 to the 5.

If you are attending Music & Media Finland in Tampere later this month, you’ll be able to check the band out live at the adjacent Lost In Music Festival.
